power-brake control valve
- power-brake control valve
A special form of pressure regulator between the aircraft hydraulic system and the brake cylinders. The amount of pressure applied to the brakes is directly proportional to the pilot’s inputs on the brake pedals. A power-brake control valve reduces the hydraulic supply system pressure and permits use of a differential, as well as progressive braking.
